Right. I saw a movie. So now Ima review it.

It starts off with seemingly random clips where you get to peek into different people's lives.
A man who've killed a woman and buries her in the woods, just to return home and find her in his house alive and kicking for vengeance, so he has to kill her over and over again.
A happy and perfectly normal family who goes to a hypnotist show, where the father gets irreversibly hypnotized to believe he's a bird.
A group of burglars, who uhm... breaks in to places and stuff.
A professional killer "from abroad" and his japanese translator, err... they kill people and stuff.
A woman working with commercials, always carrying her recorder in case she comes up with an idea.
So during the movie you get to see how the different paths of these people cross. Reminds a bit of movies like Pulp Fiction or Snatch, but still very very different. I really like the photo and the camera angles, it's very colorful and there are plenty of "weird" angles. Didn't quite like the choices of music, sure it works in a few places, but they really could've picked other tunes for most scenes and there's something about the movie as a whole too, despite it's uniqueness it doesn't really sparkle, it becomes a bit dull at times. As far as famous names go there's Vinnie Jones (the professional killer), Tadanobu Asano (the murderer) who is pretty much the japanese equivalent of Vinnie Jones

and Sonny Chiba (smaller role, but nevertheless - super likee!).
Anyway, I rate this movie 3 hacked off thumbs up out of 5 (thx Gripe lol). I recommend anyone to see it only because of its japanese weirdness. Trailer below.
