I would be very much obliged if you would all respond to this thread. You are the players and we want Loki to suit your needs (i have final say u understand

We are in beginning process of having loki upgraded to a tcl script. (my hope is that it will make trivia slicker for all players and more reliable) We are paying for this work but we want you to tell us

what you like about loki?
what you would change/add?

It is my absolute endeavour to not change him drastically, but to keep him as close to his current appearance and style as possible. We want to give him a bit of cyber plastic surgery... not change him completely.

Mmm, one thing came to mind today... the years... whenever a year is asked for... how about making the hint random on those questions... like.... if the answer is 1955 - the 3rd hint is always gonna be 1 (...which usually is fairly obvious lol). It would be neat if it showed the other digits too err, you prolly know I mean.

yeah Death, it would certainly help to have real random instead of that 1 all the time.

Soooo I finally did the register thingy so I can also post here ;-)

Ok, so we all know Loki is just awesome as he is and we all love him to bits, but seeing that it is only light plastic surgery ... I do have a suggestion ....

/me switches her brain to english mode ....

At the moment everybody scores the same amount of points irrespective of the amount of hints received. IMHO it is just fair that the amount of points decreases after every hint, so lets say for instance:

1st hint - question value = 1 000 points
2nd hint - question value = 500 points
3rd hint - question value = 250 points

/me thinks you get the picture

So ... to wrap it up, i think it is only fair if the clever people who only needs 1 hint so answer a question receive more points than some players who can figure an answer out after 3 hints :-)
